Charlotte Engelhaart live and work in Oslo, Norway, and are educated from the National academy of the Arts.  Of more recent exhibitions Charlotte had

a solo show at the Gallery Falkum in Norway and also"Ancient Palaces" in collaboration with Camaver Kunsthaus, in Sondrio.

The works possess a sophisticated, surrealistic and ironic expressionism, connoted psychological back to the memory of the twentieth-century masterpieces,

with typical impetuousness of the avant-garde.  It is in the embodied of the chromatic, in the decorative treatment of the brushstroke, in the precision and

introspection, in all of the intense activities we find tracks to a decadent past carried over to our memory in a symbolic and sensual climate.

The artist style is halfway between figurative and abstract with a perfect synthesis between two languages.  The colours are earthy and also here in balance

between warm and cold, that appears neutral also in a chromatic value.  The figures are indefinite and indefinable and emerge from this inner self of the artist.

Charlotte embodies to the perfection the artistic concept that the show wants to express with the title: Inside -out: The images hits us in our face,

and rapidly appear to our mind as unknown, perhaps coming from an subconscious jealousy from something we our self possesses.

These are images pervaded of beauty, glamour, mystery and elegance
